Why Choose Laminate?

Why Choose Laminate Flooring

  • Cost-Effective & Stylish: Laminate offers the warmth and appearance of hardwood at a fraction of the price, giving you high-end style without the premium cost.
  • Durable Surface: Designed to withstand scratches, stains, and everyday wear, laminate is ideal for busy households, high-traffic areas, and spaces where durability is key.
  • Easy Installation: The click lock system allows planks to fit together quickly and securely, making installation faster and simpler for both DIY and professional installers, even over a variety of approved subfloor types.
  • Low Maintenance: Laminate is easy to care for, requiring only a quick sweep or mop to keep it looking fresh, without the need for specialized cleaners or refinishing.

Why Not to Choose Laminate Flooring

  • Not an Approved Subfloor: Laminate cannot be used as an underlayment or installed over unacceptable surfaces like cushion-back vinyl, carpet, or other floating systems.
  • Moisture Sensitivity: Excessive moisture can cause buckling, warping, or failure, and moisture-related damage is not covered under warranty.
  • Warranty Limitations: Using laminate in areas with improper subfloor prep, excessive humidity, or with additional underlayments will void the warranty.
  • Sunlight Vulnerability: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may lead to fading or damage over time.
