Click Lock

Stylish and versatile, our click lock LVP and laminate provide floating floor options for a variety of project types boasting quick and simple installation and amazing results.

Best for...

  • DIY Installations: Click lock flooring is known for its ease of installation, making it a great option for do-it-yourself (DIY) projects. The interlocking system simplifies the installation process, often without the need for adhesives.
  • Floating Floor Applications: Click lock flooring is designed to be installed as a floating floor, meaning it is not attached to the subfloor. It can be installed over various subfloor types, including plywood, concrete, and existing flooring, as long as the surface is flat, smooth, and even.
  • Quick Installations: If you need to complete a project quickly, click lock flooring is often faster to install than other installation types, such as glue down.
  • Versatile Spaces: Click lock flooring is versatile and can be used in residential and commercial spaces, including living rooms, bedrooms, and office spaces.

Do not use if...

  • Uneven Subfloors: Click lock flooring is somewhat forgiving when installed on uneven surfaces, but significant irregularities may affect the interlocking mechanism. For extremely uneven subfloors, consider leveling the surface before installation.
  • Heavy Traffic Commercial Areas: In high-traffic commercial spaces that require more durability and stability, other flooring options with glue down installation may be more suitable.
  • Homes or Commercial Spaces that support rolling loads, such as wheelchairs or hospital beds: Click Lock flooring can lack the stability and rigidity needed to withstand the constant pressure and movement of rolling loads, leading to potential shifting, damage, or premature wear over time. The interlocking nature of click lock flooring may also result in seams, gaps, and/or breakage creating an uneven surface that can impede the smooth movement of wheeled equipment.
